Our mission at Military Craftmanship is to provide veterans with therapeutic woodworking workshops that foster personal growth and community. We aim to improve mental well-being, encourage skill development, and create lasting connections among participants as they navigate their transition to civilian life.

Behind the scenes at Military Craftmanship, our workshops are infused with camaraderie and support. Veterans work together, sharing stories and skills, creating a unique atmosphere that promotes healing through teamwork and mutual respect.
The Team

Ted Granger, Founder and Technical Director
Ted is one of the founding members and Technical Director. Ted served in the Royal air Force as aircraft ground crew, working on mainly Phantoms. He is currently our CNC operator, and helps out in other areas.

Andy Lake, Wood turner
Andy served 17 years with the Army catering corps and then the Royal logistic corps, before being medically discharged in 2005. He is our current wood turner and is happy to demonstrate his skills and teach others.

Bob Taylor, Founder and Production Director
Bob is one of the founding members and Production Director.
Bob served 22 years in the Army in the infantry Enlisted into the Gordon Highlanders and on amalgamation in 1994 with the Highlanders.
Bob was a wood machinist prior to enlisting, and is also skilled in using the Scroll Saw and Laser engraver/cutter, he is also one of the main instructors on site.
